Abstract

Abstract. The concept of organizational effectiveness is one of pillar in the theory of organization, management theory, corporate management. Currently, the analysis of organizational effectiveness is mainly focused on the consideration of the financial results of the organization, while the analysis of the quantitative characteristics of the internal activities of the organization allows you to get more relevant information and makes it possible to analyze the reserves of increasing organizational effectiveness. The aim of this work was to compare the quantitative characteristics of the performance of various organizational structures in the face of external uncertainty and to identify opportunities to increase organizational effectiveness in these conditions. The paper used methods of analyzing the behavior of an organization in conditions of external uncertainty based on multiagent models. The paper shows the influence of the organizational structure on the organization’s behavior with an increase in the level of external uncertainty, considers the threshold effect of increasing the individual effectiveness of employees on the effectiveness of the organization as a whole, suggests strategies for training and reorganization to minimize the negative impact of uncertainty on organizational effectiveness.
