Abstract

African Swine Fever Virus, isolated in 2016-2017 from domestic pigs and wild boars in 8 regions of Russian Federation, has share biological features. These isolates are virulent and cause losses of animals with features of acute and high acute forms without demonstration of a complete set of symptoms of clinical and pathologic anatomic symptoms. They are hemardsorbing and are accumulated in primary (swine leukocyte, SBM) and continuous (А4С2/9к) cell culture  in 5,5-7,5 and 3,5-5,25 lg HAU/50sm3 titres. Examined isolates are related to 8 serotype and to 2 genotype. Due to these criteria ASFV is compared with virus isolates, circulating in Russia since 2007. ASF virus isolates, extracted from domestic pigs and wild boars in 2016-2017 are related to a virus variant ASF TRS+, however isolates of variant TRS- can also be discovered (Irkutsk-2017).
