Abstract

The uniformity of mixing of the main ingredients of compound feeds with mineral, vitamin and medical preparations is extremely significant, as it provides up to a third of the increase in productivity of animals and poultry. In world practice, the uniformity of the components distribution is estimated by the coefficient of variation: V < 3% - the quality of the mixture is excellent, at 3 %<V <4 % - C C good, at 4 %<V <5 % – satisfactory. To achieve these indicators, a method of mixing in a fluidized bed in three stages is proposed, C implemented in the presented installation, which includes a chopper-mixer for the preparation of a primary premix, where the ratio of the premix to the filler is 1:1 or 1: 3-the first stage, the duration of mixing is 40-60 s; the resulting mixture is discharged into the main mixer and the filler is added 1:50, the second stage is mixed, the third stage is added all the filler (feed) and mixed 3-4 minutes. The plant is tested in production conditions: mixing uniformity is 94-95%, which is equivalent to the coefficient of variation V =4-6%, C against 7-15% in the mixers used.
