Abstract

The globalization process of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) began at the end of the last century and was initiated by the Chinese government. However, the promotion of BMT has achieved significant success only in recent years, due to the large-scale campaign to open BMT centers around the world and the inclusion of TBM drugs in Western pharmacopoeias. The article provides an analysis of the main stages of globalization of TCM.
