Abstract

Due to the constant deepening of Sino-Russian trade and economic cooperation, Chinese enterprises are increasingly engaged in economic activities in Russia. Misunderstandings and conflicts caused by this economic activity are inevitable. To cope with this challenge, it is necessary to understand the current perception by the Russian public of the Chinese economy. With the development of Internet technologies, social networks in Russia have become the main tool for communication and information. Public discourse in Russian social networks is an important way to understand the current perception by the Russian public of the Chinese economy. In accordance with the characteristics of the public discourse on the VKontakte social network, the article describes and summarizes China’s economic image in Russia on four topics - domestic macroeconomics of China, Chinese enterprises and goods, Sino-Russian trade and economic cooperation, China and the world economy).
