Abstract

The formal establishment of the Communist International in March 1919 did not become the starting point of its political activities. Only a year later, at its Second Congress, the model of the “world party of the proletariat” was built and its practical implementation began. As a result of the directive documents adopted at the congress, the experience of the Bolshevik revolution in Russia was transformed into the basis of the strategy and tactics of the communist parties, and members of the RCP (b) seconded to work in the Comintern became the supreme arbiter of internal party disputes in any country in the world.
