The article delineates the complex and permanently escalating situation in the modern world and points out the new challenges to the established political and economic order. At the same time, the article highlights the constructive character in today’s testing circumstances and highly evaluates their current state and the perspectives of their future development. The article also underlines the growing global role of the Latin American region. The article specifically addresses the situation around Venezuela and states the firm persistence of Russia’s position regarding the strict adherence to the aims and principles of international law and UN Charter.
