Heraldic Burlesque of Michael from Rhodes at the First Half of the 15th Century

The Article considers an ironic imaginery Coat d’Arms of Michael from Rhodes at the first Half of the 15th Century, which was a Greek Sailors, which had been naturalized in Venice, has made an amazing Career, has risen from the simply Rower in a Venetian Galley to the Admiral. This Research addresses Elements of the Coat d’ Arms — the Shield, the Helmet, the Mantling, the Torse, and the Crest. The Author analyzes the Tinctures, and the non-heraldic Figures such as white Radish with Leaves alarming allusion to Crown, and the Mouse catching the Cat. This Article suggested that Michael of Rhodes were of Peasant Backgrounds.
