Criminal responsibility of robots: actual problem and areas for further development

Innovation activity and its results are of great interest for any state, as it is innovation that determines scientific and technical leadership today, not to mention the future. In the course of the innovation process, technologies, robots, artificial intelligence systems and other inventions began to penetrate into people's lives more and more actively. Thus, robots are becoming increasingly common in everyday life and in the workplace. In this regard, the rapid development of innovation increasingly poses a problem of relations between robots and people, especially if these robots are equipped with high-level artificial intelligence systems. In particular, with regard to Criminal Law, the question arises: who will be responsible for a crime committed with the participation of a robot? In this work, the author made an attempt to outline the prospects for solving this problem.
