Abstract

Two hand-written albums on Yunnan from the collection of the Academic library of Saint Petersburg State University have been produced circa first half of the XIX century. The first album is “Illustrated descriptions of yi-barbarians of the South and the West of Yunnan” (Xyl. F-26, preface 1839, 44 illustrations, republished with commentary in 2020), the second album Xyl F-25 is without original cover, title and date, contains 73 maps of various administrative units of Yunnan province (prefectures, regions, counties). Yunnan albums may roughly be divided into two types: 1. Albums depicting ethnic groups similar to “the Miao Albums” characteristic of Guizhou province; 2. Albums containing maps of various administrative units of the province with textual descriptions on these units, with details on various peoples. Earlier versions of Yunnan albums contained descriptive data from no longer extant Ming period writings on the province, but number of the Yunnan ethnic groups mentioned on the albums increased from about 44 in mid-late XVIII century to over 100 by the second half of the XIX century, this rise in numbers is related to the publication of an extended version of “Bo Lin album” of 1818. Upon comparing descriptions from the Xyl F-25 album and official Yunnan gazetteers (Yunnan tongzhi, 1736 and 1835) we draw a conclusion that data from the gazetteers was not borrowed to this album, and its descriptions may be the original work of their unknown author. Album Xyl F-25 did not pursue a goal of providing detailed information on various peoples of Yunnan.

1 ВВЕДЕНИЕ Данное исследование посвящено цинским альбомам о провинции Юньнань, которые были полностью написаны и нарисованы от руки. Обычно китайские историки для обозначения альбомов о народах Юньнань используют термины «картины всех мяо» (баймяоту百苗圖, другой вариант перевода – «альбомы об инородцах») и «картины варваров-и Дянь [Юньнань]» (дяньи ту滇夷圖) [Чуай Чжэньюй, 2009, с. 2]. В мире насчитывается более сотни т.н. «альбомов об инородцах» эпохи Цин (1644-1911), которые представляют собой собрания выполненных в цвете от руки рисунков со сценами из жизни народностей провинций Юга и Юго-Запада Китая – Сычуани, Гуйчжоу, Юньнани, Хунани, Хайнани и т.д. В Научной библиотеке им. М.Горького Санкт-Петербургского государственного университета (НБ СПбГУ) хранятся четыре альбома о двух провинциях юго-западного Китая эпохи Цин - Гуйчжоу и Юньнани: два альбома о провинции Юньнань (шифр Xyl F-26, Xyl F-25), два альбома о народах Гуйчжоу (шифр F-25a, Xyl.F-27). Эти альбомы включают около двух сотен цветных рисунков, изображающих различные сцены жизни представителей десятков этносов Юньнани и Гуйчжоу, относящихся к группам тибето-бирманских (и, лун, цян и др.), тайских (дун, мулао и др.), кадайских (гэлао), мяо-яо и других народов. Альбом XylF-26 «Иллюстрированное описание варваров-и юга и запада провинции Юньнань» (Дяньшэн иси инань ижэнь тушо 滇省迤西迤南夷人圖說) был переиздан с комментарием исследователей из СПбГУ [Маяцкий, Миронова, Сомкина, 2020].
2 В центре данного исследования альбом Xyl F-25, содержащий рукописные карты 73 административных единиц (округов фу府, областей чжоу 州, уездов сянь 縣и проч.) провинции Юньнань. Название, написанное на обложке пером на русском языке - «Карты городов провинции Юньнань», оригинальное китайское название не сохранилось, предисловий и дат нет. От приведенных выше «альбомов об инородцах» его отличает иной принцип подачи информации о провинции. В правой части каждого разворота представлена выполненная в восточной картографической традиции карта с обозначенными на ней важнейшими объектами инфраструктуры (городские стены, укрепления, административные здания, храмы), а также географическими объектами (горы, реки, озера, поселения и проч.), в верхней части левого разворота представлено прозаическое описание данной административной единицы, ниже приведена иллюстрация, отражающая наиболее характерные для данной области реалии (Рис.1). Таким образом, подобный формат вобрал в себя карты и описания в духе официальных историко-географических описаний (фанчжи方志, тунчжи通志) и изображения местного быта и промыслов в духе «альбомов об инородцах», при этом картины нельзя назвать изображениями отдельных народов. Для более точной атрибуции данного альбома необходимо сначала рассмотреть его в системе подобных альбомов о провинции Юньнань, сохранившихся в разных собраниях мира, а также провести анализ его информационной составляющей в контексте источников по Юньнани.
