Abstract

Interview with ‘Sociological Studies” Editor -in-Chief Professor G.A. Kliucharev touches upon some key issues of editorial policies, as well as problems of engagements with the authors, of outlook for the journal development, etc. Themes of methodology and methods were discussed, ranging from Dig Data to social ontology. Interdisciplinarity, so the interviewee, is a basic attribute of contemporary social science research. Also, the issue of promising lines for Russian sociology is debated, along with the crucial knots of sociologists’ education, including postgraduate and postdoctoral one – within the framework of Lifelong learnig and competencies of graduate sociologists.
