Abstract

The author considers the basic concepts of lexicology and grammar, rooted in Russian studies, from the point of view of their value for providing either receptive or productive speech actions, or both. Claiming, in particular, that lexical and grammatical ambiguity are extremely important for reception, but not for production, and synonymy is, on the contrary, important for production, but not for reception, the author shows that a level approach to the language, effectively providing receptive speech actions, is insolvent in ensuring productive speech actions. The various values of the main grammatical categories of the Russian language are shown, when they correlate with reality during reception. It also substantiates the need for the production to move not directly to grammatical characteristics, but to move to them from reality, or from proper linguistic characteristics. The author also claims the weakness of the ideographic study tradition of the Russian language, as well as the need for this approach, taking into account the classifications and experience gained already in the framework of the semasiological approach in response to requests from public practice and to the opportunities offered by the development of computer science.
