Friendship and Scientific Cooperation Between A.N. Pypin and  P.A. Rovinsky (Based on Personal Correspondence)

The article is dedicated to the content of the personal correspondence of A.N. Pypin and P.A. Rovinsky, two famous scientists of the second half of the 19th – early 20th centuries. These letters are stored in the Department of Manuscripts of the Russian National Library. The messages exchanged over several decades between close friends and colleagues contain important biographical information and shed light on the professional collaboration of the two scholars. Undoubtedly, these letters are a valuable source for studying the history of Russian Slavic studies in general and the scientific heritage of P.A. Rovinsky and A.N. Pypin in particular.
