Plot motives in the work of Milorad Pavić (on the example of the novels The Inner Side of the Wind и Second Body)

The prose of Milorad Pavić, the most prominent Serbian author of the second half of the twentieth century who earned a reputation as one of the European flagship postmodernist writers, is marked by a strong affiliation with the national literary tradition. The article looks into the artistic tools used in the novels «The Inne Side of the Wind» and «Second Body» indicative of the link between Pavić’s poetics and Baroque literature and Medieval literature.
