Abstract

The concept of cognitive-behavioral predictors of personal life activity and its implementation on the example of students' activity in the virtual space is presented. The concept is based on the contemplative-explanatory type of knowledge on the cognitive-psychological activity of the actor, which is the initial stage of theory formation, when it is allowed to fill it with elements of existing theories (Ya.A. Ponomarev). The theoretical justification and practical implementation of the cognitive-behavioral concept is an attempt to solve the “cardinal” problem of psychology: the combination of analyticity and integrity (P.K. Anokhin). The concept provides for cognitive and behavioral activity of the actor in a social situation of development, where real and virtual behavior form the unity of student life. Understanding of the new reality is carried out in the form of creating a model of cognitive behavioral activity that includes the necessary elements of the theory of functional systems (P.K. Anokhin), the psychological mechanism of creativity (Ya.A. Ponomarev) with “mutual transitions” of external actions into internal ones and vice versa (A.N. Leontiev), zones of development of determination and self-organization (S.L. Rubinstein). In contrast to western researchers, who emphasize the “reciprocal determinism” of the environment, personality and behavior in human life (A. Bandura), here emphasis is placed on the creative, constructive nature of the cognitiveness of a subject living in new conditions. The combination of contemplative-academic and creative principles is presented by the method of analysis of cognitive predictors of success, where the phenomenon of creative activity is statistically confirmed by the results of empirical studies on a sample, consisting of more than 33,000 subjects. And the complementary combination of analyticity and integrity is shown through the use of the scaffolding method, where the unity of motivation, abilities, personal qualities and will create conditions for the subject's creative self-realization.
