Abstract

The article presents the main results of the discussion of the status and prospects of environmental and psychological research at the international conference “9th Russian Conference on Environmental Psychology: From the Ecology of Childhood to the Psychology of Sustainable Development” (March 17–19, 2020, Moscow). According to the results of the conference, it was noted that in the context of a global deterioration of the ecological and social situation on the planet, the coronavirus pandemic, the wide digitalization of life and other environmental challenges,active participation required of psychologists and teachers in ensuring the ecological existence and development of children and adults in accordance with the goals of the Sustainable Development Concept development of mankind and the planet.
