Доктрина Эйзенхауэра и интервенция в Ливан 1958 году

Аннотация

В статье рассматривается политика США по отношению к Ближнему Востоку, в частности, Ливану после провала Тройственной агрессии 1956 г. и провозглашения доктрины Эйзенхауэра. Доктрина послужила поводом для интервенции США в Ливан в 1958 г., когда американцы, поддержав меньшинство, усугубили и без того сложные конфессиональные отношения в стране.
