Антарктида во внешней политике стран Латинской Америки

Во втором десятилетии XXI в. Антарктика остается на периферии как системы международных отношений, так и исследований глобальных процессов. Но совершенно очевидно, что значение региона изменилось, и он становится объектом геополитической борьбы не только традиционных антарктических держав, но и внерегиональных игроков, ищущих способы влиять на процессы, связанные с континентом. Данная статья посвящена эволюции места и роли Антарктиды во внешней политике стран Латинской Америки. На основе документов министерств иностранных дел, программ политических партий, материалов СМИ, экспертных оценок автор анализирует деятельность латиноамериканских государств в Антарктиде, перспективы их сотрудничества с ведущими мировыми державами.
