Religious and Philosophical Views of Young Edmund Burke

In this article the views concerning philosophy and religion of the British politician and the thinker E. Burke relating to the early period of his career are investigated (the 50th — the beginning of the 60th of the 18th century). At this stage the thinker wrote a number of important works for his creativity, concerning the problems of politics, ethics, religion, social relations. The ideas formulated in its first works had significant effect on development of the Enlightenment in Great Britain and on forming of the doctrine of conservatism in the following. On the basis of the analysis of treatises of this thinker the author comes to a conclusion about the hierarchical concept of his world order in which civil laws, moral standards and religion are the major components.
