Abstract

The article draws attention to a number of issues related to the cognitive process, but very little in demand by the science of Criminal Law, the resolution of which is engaged in epistemology. It is also proved that the low level of use of epistemological experience is due to a small number of interdisciplinary studies that ensure the circulation and mutual enrichment of various fields of knowledge. The lack of philosophical and legal research leads to the fact that we have ideas about epistemology as a theory of knowledge and its belonging to one of the key sections of philosophy, but we do not have knowledge about the epistemology of Criminal Law, the possibility of obtaining them and the need for science.
