Abstract

The relevance of the study of law innovation and the functions of this phenomenon is due to the importance of law updating in the mechanism of legal regulation of social relations. The paper is concerned with analyzing of numerous aspects related to functional dependence in the process of the law innovation activity. It is scientifically justified that the use of the category "functions of law innovation" will allow to see not only the features of a specific rule of law, but also the complex ways of influencing of innovative norms and law mechanisms on public relations. Thus, the following conclusions are drawn: the process of innovative functioning is characterized by a consistent connection of states and stages. This feature can be expressed in the functional dependence of the following type: legal fact - the rule of law - legal relation.
