Abstract | In modern Russia there is no single official ideology, in Russian society there is a wide range of different ideological trends – Marxist, conservative, liberal, religious, Eurasian – all of them compete with each other, there is also their mutual intertwining. The views of their representatives are based on the desire to propose a program for the development of Russian statehood, taking into account either traditional or modern values. Hence the huge interest to the past of Russia, as well as to Western social theories. The Russian leadership is trying to combine conservative, liberal and religious ideals in its ideology. |
