Abstract

The article presents the results of an analysis of the governance concepts in the Marxist sociology of 1910-1930’s in China presented by the works of prominent representatives of this direction: Li Da, Li Dazhao and Qu Qiubai. The main directions, so the author, in which Marxists described social governance and approaches to it in China are justification of Marxist sociological theories in the context of China’s traditional governance values, criticism of other sociological governance concepts prevalent in China at that time, and analyses of the influence of foreign powers’ governance methods impact on China’s social problems. Different directions of social trends of the time were reflected in these areas: movements to preserve traditions and struggles revolutionary changes in Chinese society. Chinese Marxist sociology in the justification of the ideas of social governance is trying to find a consensus between tradition and revolution, the basic strategy for building a discourse on governance concepts.
