Аннотация

Первые исследования Бурдьё посвящены Алжиру. Могут ли они считаться частью «постколониальных исследований»? Моя статья обращена к ранним трудам Бурдьё, чтобы представить его как творца критического подхода к колониализму, вышедшего за пределы французской имперской эпистемы. Если стандартные взгляды сводили колониализм к нейтральному способу переноса культуры, отражающему лишь стремления и интересы метрополии, то Бурдьё опирался на опыт и заботы колонизуемых, строил теорию колониализма как социальной системы, структурируемой расизмом и насилием, оказывающей глубокое воздействие на колонизаторов и колонизуемых. В этом смысле ранние работы Бурдьё были не просто о колониализме, они эпистемологически постколониальные.
