Abstract

The methodological base of the human capital theory and the educational signals theory will prove that the labor employment combination with training at the university allows individuals to adapt more effectively to new processes of socialization in labor market in the course of primary transition from study to work. Recent research of study and work combination are concentrated around following problem areas: the reasons of temporary employment during training, the impact of temporary employment during university studies, the impact of employment while studying for job, prospects and career development. In the framework of the study of the contradictions and problems of student socialization, the factors of student employment were determined during the training, and an attempt was made to put forward hypotheses as to the degree of their influence on the decision-making to combine studies at the university with work based on data of the 2006, 2011, 2016 sociological survey on the socialization of students in the context of the formation of their professional skills, including motivation and trends of secondary employment overlap with studies at the university.
