Abstract

The article surveys scholarly activities of the members of the Russian association of Byronists during recent decades. There offered an account of work in preparation for the 47th International Conference of Byron Societies (which was expected to be held in Summer 2022) completed by the organizing committee in years 2020–2022. The current state of international scholarly connections and Byronic studies is discussed. The prospects of the work of Russian Byronists related to the current problems of comparative literature, the history of intellectual culture and Russian scholarly editing are estimated.
