Declaration of dictature of Nichevokiness in the collection of manifestos Dog Box (1922)

The article treats the activities of the group «Nichevoki» (1920–1923) and their collection of manifestos «Nichevoki. Dog’s box, or the Work of the artistic bureau of nichevoki during 1920–1921». Issue 1 (1922), where social, political and journalist text, or bureaucratic character of relations between the state and arts are mocked in a form of decrees and orders/ The poets demonstrate the usurpation of control over creative activities from the state and declare the dictature of «Nichevokiness». The categories of freedom and coercion hidden behind correlate with the avant-garde’s fixation on destruction of the existing canon and building of a new cultural paradigm.
