Abstract

The influence of pollution of ordinary chernozem with oil and lead on the growth and development of spring barley (Priazovsky variety 9) in field small-model model experiments was studied. The lead content in chernozem ordinary up to +500 mg / kg in excess of the background did not cause a marked deterioration in the morphometric indicators of the barley condition, and in a number of variants of the experiment even had a reliable stimulating effect on some indicators of the state of both vegetative and generative barley organs. At the same time, starting with the lead content in the soil +25 mg / kg above the background, the amount of lead in the straw and barley grain was increased, which makes such barley dangerous for consumption. The significant negative effect of oil on barley was manifested with a dose of 1% of the mass of the soil. 10% of the oil in the soil completely suppressed the germination of barley seeds. Generative organs of barley proved to be no less sensitive to chemical soil contamination than vegetative ones. Lead is more strongly accumulated in the barley straw than in the grain. But with the increase in the lead content in the soil, the coefficient of accumulation of lead in the grain grows faster than in the straw. On lead-contaminated soil from vegetative organs, the grain begins to flow 1.7-4.1 times more lead than in unpolluted soil.
