Abstract

The term “Psycho-acmeological deviances” is introduced in the article on the basic concept of “acmeologic’s norm development”. The article presents the results of the comparative empirical research, which shows the way to identify personal deviance tendencies of specialists in socially important professions like socionomic (teachers, doctors) and nonsocionomic (engineers). It is emphasized that psycho-acmeological deviances of specialists don’t correspond to deontological status of doctor and teachers’ professions. The study has revealed dynamic characteristics and the most stable underlying trends of tested personalities, defined the criteria and determinants of psycho-acmeological deviances in the profession of doctor and teacher. It can serve as a basis for building preventive practices. The article concludes that the focus of professional self-development and self-improvement contributes disclosing identity, competitiveness and compliance of personality, whose behavior and communication activities correspond to professional and ethical, psychological and acmeological norms.
