Agro-industrial complex of Belarus: its role in the formation of the countrys GDP

<em >The article discusses the composition of the agro-industrial complex, its place in the structure of the economy, specifies the categorical boundaries and methods of state management of the agro-industrial complex.<em >It is shown that the practice of analyzing the agro-industrial complex reflects reality only to a limited extent. This creates problems for an objective assessment of structural transformations, complicates the choice of "locomotives" of economic growth.<em >Using the method of analysis of structural and dynamic transformations, correlations, it is concluded that it is necessary to change the policy in the agri-food sector, and that the positioning of the agro-industrial complex as a factor in GDP growth is wrong.
