Abstract

Based on little-known sources the documentary essay tells about the activities of the mysterious “Lucius” — a man from Lucerne — German anti-fascist and Soviet intelligence officer Rudolf Roessler, who provided the Swiss residency of the Soviet military intelligence with valuable information about the German military machine, in particular, about the preparation of “Citadel” — German general offensive on the Eastern Front in the summer of 1943.
