The evolution of relations between Russia and Guyana in 1992—2018

The article discusses the relationship between the Cooperative Republic of Guyana and the Russian Federation. The author shows the long history of this cooperation, which began in Soviet times. The article consistently analyzes the main milestones of bilateral relations and presents the key aspects of agreements between the Republic of Guyana and the Russian Federation (including the economic partnership and the "Agreement on the Basics of Relations between the Russian Federation and the Cooperative Republic of Guyana"). In conclusion, the results of a long-term policy of cooperation between the two countries are summarized.
