The Main Trends in the Implementation of the Third Dimension of UK Public Diplomacy in the Asian Countries of the Indo-Pacific

In the paper, author identified the main trends related to the scientific and educational track of public diplomacy in the UK. The main directions of joint research of British universities and Asian universities are highlighted, the impact of the pandemic on academic mobility is studied, key partners in the scientific and educational track are identified. The study presents statistical data on the number of study visas issued and the countries with the largest exports of students to the United Kingdom in the period 2019—2021. Special attention is paid to the activities of the British Council in the states of the region. In particular, the author analyzed its scholarships, grant programs and international interuniversity initiatives.
