Категории описания общности в этническом и протонациональном дискурсе на ирландском языке в первой половине XVII в.

Аннотация

Тюдоровский и стюартовский период был эпохой больших трансформаций в истории Ирландии, зафиксированных в том числе в обновленном терминологическом аппарате на ирландском языке. Среди новых понятий, проникших в ирландский язык, было и náision (нация). Данная статья рассматривает оперативный словарь этнического и протонационального дискурса на примере текстов первой половине XVII в., созданных Тайгом О’Киананем, Эем Мак Кавилом (Мак Ангилем) и Джоффри Китингом, и контекстуализирует представления об этничности в ирландоязычной среде. На основе анализа понятий náision, pobal, cíne, fine, aicme, sliocht автор демонстрирует, что когда тексты ориентировались на иноязычную традицию использования категорий общности, актуализировался супрагентильный потенциал понятий, когда же они оперировали вернакулярными ресурсами, сохранялся более привычный гентильный аспект значений. Несмотря на устойчивоть гентилизма в ирландоязычной среде, сам факт появления нового языка описания свидетельствовал не только о дискурсивной аккультурации ирландских интеллектуалов, но и о процессах территориализации.
