Abstract

The article is dedicated to studying the evolution of the structure and management of the East India company. The connection of its home life with Revolution and Stuart’s Restoration events is considered. Social and national component of its leaders and managers, the traditions and rules of staff’s behaviour and management, the status of its staff in England and India, the reasons of forming their special interests in India are studied. The stable traditions and changes in the social structure and activity organization of the Company through the 17th century are discovered. The connection of East India Company’s home life with its history of the origin of the conquest of India in the 18th century is also under consideration.
