Abstract

Author tells about held in Moscow on November 25, 2020 an international round table dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the signing of the treaty between Lithuania and Soviet Russia. The meeting was organized by the Russian-Lithuanian Commission of Historians, the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the Russian Federation, the Institute of World History of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Lithuanian History. Leading historians from Russia, Lithuania and Poland took part in the discussion. They raised important issues related to the international situation in Eastern Europe on the eve and during the signing of the treaty: the internal situation in Russia, Lithuania and Poland, the influence of the Soviet-Polish war on the treaty, the content of the treaty and its significance for each of the parties, the historical memory of the events of 1920 in Lithuania, Russia and Poland and the treaty reflection in modern historiography.
