The concept of environmental safety (legal aspect)

The article shows the importance of ensuring environmental safety for the present and future generations of people at the national (Russian) and international levels. The correlation of ecological safety with military security, ecological (sustainable) development, the impact of socio-economic development on the state of the environment (in terms of the ratio of economy and ecology) is revealed. The importance of international cooperation of states in ensuring environmental safety is proved and the leading role of legal science (environmental lawyers) in solving environmental protection problems is revealed.
