Abstract

The author of this article continues discussions that unfolded on the “State and Law” journal’s pages around fundamental socio-philosophical and political-legal problems that Professor S.N. Baburin has carefully analyzed in his book entitled “Moral State. Russian View on the Values of Constitutionalism”. In the article consistently examines a number of issues that are crucial for the future of all humankind: morality and immorality of a state, the initial depravity of capitalism, which is particularly evident in the modern phase of its evolution, the inevitability of the bourgeois system’s death and the possibility of its overcoming without bloodshed, the role in this process of in some аspects a new, resurgent post-economic personality.
