Abstract

The article deals with the issues related to the criteria of scientific character of legal science in general and the theory of state and law in particular. It is proved that the components of legal science are dogmatic and non-dogmatic elements. In general, the author comes to the conclusion that the complex, integrative nature of law as an object of legal science determines the necessity of the existence and justification of an integrative approach to its research.
