Abstract

The article deals with the issues of continuing judicial reform in the Russian Federation. It should be aimed at ensuring the authority of the courts and their credibility in civil society. There are undoubted achievements in the formation of Russian justice. It is proposed to continue the reforms by giving judges at all levels greater independence, to promote the development of their creative abilities in the administration of justice, especially since this is what the Constitution of the Russian Federation requires. Guided by the law and legal awareness, judges have the right to make decisions for the good and for the sake of justice. To do this, you need to change the doctrine of hierarchy in the judicial system. Without suspicion and bureaucratic postulates to carry out the selection of personnel for judicial positions. The main criteria should be professionalism, honor and dignity of a person in the service and at home.
