Abstract

The article reveals the problem of gender rights development in Russian practice. The content of the main definitions related to gender rights that reflect the development of public relations in this area is considered. The social and legal essence of gender equality is revealed. On the example of the norms of public and private law, it is proved that gender rights are complex and can be distinguished in a special way by the criterion of legal personality.
