Abstract

The article discusses the concept and features of the juridical argument. It is juridical arguments that characterize juridical argumentation as a type of argumentation. The author gives the definition of the juridical argument and highlights the characteristics of this legal phenomenon. The most important legal feature that makes it possible to distinguish juridical arguments from other arguments is the juridical basis. The definition of this concept is formulated. The juridical basis can be legal and factual. The attention is focused on the fact that the concept of “juridical argument” is wider than the concept of “legal argument”.
