Abstract

Given the materials of the International scientific "Round Table" on "Quo Vadis, Justitia? Development of legal systems from the position of law faculties", which took place on March 14, 2019 at the faculty of law of St. Climent Okhridsky Sofia University (Bulgaria). The “Round Table” was organized by the Department of theory and history of state and law of the faculty of law of St. Climent Okhridsky Sofia University and the Department of theory of state and law and political science of legal faculty of Lomonosov Moscow state University.

The participants of this event addressed the problems of methodology of theoretical and legal sciences, as well as laws in the theory of state and law in connection with the criteria of scientific research. Attention was paid to the issues of hierarchy and competition between modern legal systems; legislative policy, legislation, legal science and legal education; pluralism of views in the framework of the theory of state and law, and many others. The Bulgarian view on the libertarian-legal theory of V.S. Nersesyants is shown.
