Abstract

The article is devoted to the first legal foresight session “Transformation of law into the digital age”, which was held at the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences on March 21, 2019. Its participants highlighted the main trends in the development of digital objects of civil rights, legal entities, public administration, the right of access to the Internet; reveal their potential by pointing to specific opportunities opening up related to the development of these trends; identified risks and threats arising from the development of these trends, and also formed an understanding of the regulations required to ensure the development of these legal institutions. The article pays great attention to the problems of adapting the Rapid Foresight methodology for conducting scientific events aimed at predicting law.
