Abstract

The article deals with the important issue of the formation of the judiciary of the Russian Federation on the basis of conducting a psychodiagnostics survey of candidates for judges. Until now, in our country, unlike a number of other states, there is no institutional and legal mechanism for such survey, either there is no corresponding legislative and other regulatory framework of such survey. As a result, in Russia there are no reliable barriers to “entry” to the judiciary of people with an unstable psyche, stress- and hypnosis-resistant, possessing the properties of the soul, character traits, etc., which obviously cannot be trusted to dispense justice. Meanwhile, local experiments conducted in this field for two decades demonstrate success in such psychodiagnostics. The solution of this problem by legislative means is proposed in the article.
