Abstract

The influence of silver and humic substances (HS) nanocomposites (NC) of three species obtained from mud, shale and coals of deposits located in Mongolia on the viability and ability to biofilm formation of a phytopathogenic gram-positive bacterium Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. sepedonicus (Cms), as well as peroxidase activity and potato plant growth in vitro. The maximum has shown reduced in viability of bacterial cells as a result of incubation with NC HS-mu/Ag and NC HS-co/Ag. It was found that humic substances - HS-mu, HS-sl and nanocomposites synthesized from them - NC HS-mu/Ag, NC HS-sl/Ag more than twofold reduced the activity of peroxidase in potato tissues. It has been found that HS-co and NC HS-co/Ag exerted on potato peroxidase activity, as well as biofilm formation of Cms bacterium, stimulating effect. It was established that all the investigated nanocomposites had no negative effect on the growth of potatoes, and the nanocomposite NC HS-mu/Ag based on mud had even a stimulating effect on leaf formation in plants. The carried-out researches allow to consider nanocomposites of silver and humic substances as potential agents for healing of potatoes from bacterial pathogens.
