Abstract

The article is devoted to the publication and attribution of a gold ornament of a wooden vessel from the Hermitage collection. The plate originates from one of the Seven burial mounds on the Shahan plateau near Maikop. Stylistic analysis allowed to establish that the subject belongs to the far Eastern pictorial tradition and can be dated within the last quarter of the VII century BC.
