Abstract

The publication presents the correspondence of Yu. P. Kazakov with Arkhangelsk Publishing House, highlighting the background of the emergence of the writer’s first books, Teddy (1957) and Manka (1958), that were published in Arkhangelsk. The data have been retrieved from the State Archives of the Arkhangelsk Region.
