Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the image of Peter I, which is considered as a sense-forming, integral attitude of the subject to the phenomena of the external world. Describes what queries in search engines Yandex and Google, demonstrated a high interest in Peter, not only Russians, but also representatives of many foreign countries, which is caused by the representation of his life in periodical literature. The purpose of the research was a content-structural analysis of the image of Peter I in the Electronic scientific library, in particular in the RSCI. The research revealed that the leading topics of analysis in the scientific library are the personality of Peter I, his reform efforts and the very atmosphere of that historical period. It is shown that the image of the Emperor is most often associated with his historical achievements, which were entirely devoted to serving the Fatherland. Nevertheless, the activities of the Emperor and his reforms are characterized ambiguously and even contradictory, ambivalence is also present in the assessment of the social environment of the Emperor. It is shown that the inconsistency of assessments is associated with historical periods and ideological positions of the authors. Thus, foreign researchers are characterized by the idea of the special role of England in the worldview of Peter I. The bibliographic analysis was performed by automated analysis of texts containing the word "personality", as well as its corresponding synonyms. The study also used frequency analysis of words. In conclusion, it is noted that the presented automated developments of bibliographic analysis of large text materials have a high scientific potential.
