Participants of the V International scientific-and-practical conference “Socio-psychological adaptation of migrants in the modern world” organized by Penza State University focused on a wide range of problems related to adaptation of migrants: from ethno-psychological problems of migrants’ adaptation in the post-Soviet area and methodological problems of person’s socio-psychological adaptation to new living conditions to problems related to the study of socio-psychological and psychological-pedagogical aspects of  bilingualism. The most important trend is that the growth of migration exacerbates the problem of integration of newcomers into society, thus compounding cross-cultural interaction. In this regard, positive experience of overcoming of the problems under discussion have important role to play.
